Our Team
Tim Bakkenes
General Manager - Technology
Since entering the financial services industry in 2002, I've held a variety of roles at leading institutions including banks, financial advice firms, and global financial technology providers. Through these roles, I've gained firsthand experience and insights into how a diverse range of institutions—from large global corporations to smaller local firms—utilise technology to deliver services to their customers.
Here at Lifetime I'm driven by the transformative power of FinTech to unlock new opportunities for growth, drive innovation, streamline processes, and deliver engaging tools and experiences that empower our customers to achieve greater financial certainty.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my young family and we love exploring the many beautiful hiking trails and beaches our country has to offer. I'm also a keen motorcyclist and you'll often find me on either the tarmac or off-road trails.
Kelly Harvey
Fire & General - Administration & Claims Manager
BA
I started out in my insurance career straight out of Uni working for State Insurance and later Vero Insurance. After about 10 years in the industry I took a break to have kids and following that worked in administration and events for a change of scenery. The insurance world came calling again, and I started work at One50 Group in the fire & general team as an administration assistant and then later became the administration & claims manager, a role I have carried through to Lifetime.
What I love most about my role is helping clients through the claims process to get the best outcome possible. Nobody wants to have to claim on their insurance, and it can be a stressful time, so the easier I can make that process for my clients, the better.
Mishal Arora
Adviser Support
Hi, I'm Mishal. I have a diverse skill set gained from experiences in hospitality, early childhood and the insurance industry. I'm driven by a passion for finance and a dedication to achieving high standards. I joined Lifetime in July 2023 and am currently studying Bachelor of Business (Finance) from Massey University. Having worked as an early childhood teacher in the past, I have a positive and well-rounded personality that translates into effective communication, empathy and a commitment to go above and beyond. I strive to help people to the best of my abilities and their satisfaction is rewarding to me. Outside of work, I enjoy going on hikes and playing competitive badminton.
Alice Zhong
Adviser Support / Office Coordinator
I started out my career in the hospitality industry because of my 'happy-go-lucky' personality. Being born and raised in Singapore, it has given me the advantage to blend in easily with the different nationalities and cultures in New Zealand. Another great advantage of this is the ability to speak two languages (English and Mandarin Chinese) from a young age which has given me more opportunities to help other nationalities along the way.
My passion is helping people the best I can, and when I am not out helping the world, I really enjoy baking cakes, being out in nature, hiking, and in the winter I continue to improve my skiing skills!

Andrew Logan
Chief Executive Officer
N.Dip Marketing
Andrew started in the financial services industry in 1996 as a broker consultant at one of South Africa's leading insurers, followed by a national advisory role in their health insurance division. Dual citizenship, a spirit for adventure and a passion for rugby then brought Andrew to New Zealand. Here he co-founded a brokerage firm in Christchurch, specialising in business risk and set up the financial services division for a large Canterbury Real Estate Firm.
Seeking new opportunities, Andrew moved to Auckland, where he took on management and business development positions in banking and insurance. His expertise in the field led him to a significant tenure at a global technology company, where he oversaw their Wealth Management operations in New Zealand.
More recently, Andrew's innovative spirit led him to the golf industry, where he founded a startup, developing a groundbreaking, patented all-in-one golf bag & push cart, earning acclaim at the international PGA merchandising show. Beyond his professional achievements, Andrew is an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular love for golf and waterskiing. He is happily married to Lucy, dedicated father to Thomas, and resides in the scenic region of Northland.
Mikang Kim
Adviser Support
I firmly believe that every experience in our lives is an opportunity to learn and grow. I am a huge believer in lifelong learning; throughout my life, I have studied five different majors (Home Economics/Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)/International Relations/Translation/Culinary Studies) in three countries (South Korea/The United States/New Zealand) to broaden my knowledge and continue learning momentums. Immigration Law is my latest study and it helped me realise how important it is to keep on a learning curve.
My three golden rules are: 1. Never stop learning. Learning should be eternal. 2. Follow your dream and take charge of your own happiness. This rule is still hard for me to learn and I am in the process of fully appreciating it. It is important that we live a life that makes us happy. 3. Believe in yourself, with realistic goals, and enjoy the journey.
